・I come from a family of 12. Six brothers and 4 sisters. I am the middle child.

・ My father was born in Wyoming. He immigrated to Mexico with his family as a child. He returned to the US with our family as an adult.

・ After college, I taught at an American School in Mexico. I traveled extensively within Mexico during that time.

・ I was the first one in my family to attend college.

・I played semi-pro soccer in the 80’s.
